Done for #Myths-and-Legends Underworld contest.This is my version of Azrael, the arch-angel of death in Biblical tradition. He records the births and deaths of every human in his book. Some variants give him multiple eyes and/or heads to keep track of humanity. My version is closer to the traditional Grim Reaper. It's also inspired by Mucha's works.
Learn from my Fail: If you think you've misspelled a word, check before inking. Remembering the correct spelling just as you've finished inking the letters is not good. Thankfully it was easy to fix in Photoshop.

It looks nice anyway, I was a bit surprised to see that it was digital, the colouring looks somewhat traditional >w<

I misspelt Azrael as Azreal, with the 'a' and 'e' switched.
I mucked around with the brush settings a bit to try out a few different effects.
