In Marvel Ultimate X-men #98:After watching some distressing news, Syndicate (Matt and Luke) take a walk outside. Unfortunately, Matt seems to explode.
This is really disturbing and distressing. What will happen to my favorite two-headed, three-armed mutant? I kinda see several possibilities:
1. Syndicate (just Luke) will become an one-headed, three-armed mutant. He may also drop a rank from my list of favorite mutants. Luke will probably also be deaf since the explosion is close to his ear. He probably may lose that protection from telepathic control power.
2. Syndicate will probably die.
3. Matt may miraculously survive, but he may be horribly scarred and deformed, which also sucks. Syndicate is kinda one of the few two-headed mutants that look decent.
4. Matt and Luke may probably unharmed and this was a bad dream or something. Highly unlikely, but hopefully this is the situation.
What WILL happen? Don't know until issue 99 of Ultimate X-men.
I think that Double Header just increased his rank in my list of two-headed mutants.

Just found out by searching Google that Syndicate was killed by William Stryker in Ultimate X-men 99. I liked Syndicate too~
