Description A little story

There once was a girl, and she grew up in a small town. She had one friend and nobody else really liked her. They called her names, pushed her around, and never have her a break. This girl learned to think lowly of herself. Nobody called her beautiful, or pretty. They called her horrible names, like bitch, fag, and more. They kept pushing her until one day she snapped. She started thinking those bad thoughts in her head, she started falling for temptation. Then one day her Mother and Father told her they needed to leave. That she had to leave all she knew, to go to a big city. The girl thought it would be hell, coming from everyone who hated her to a new world that hated her. As she got to this new place, she couldn't stand it. She was alone, every night she cried herself to sleep, and when she slept her dreams tormented her about the abuse. She started school and stayed hidden, tried to not make friends. She couldn't help but notice a boy looking at her one day. He sat right beside her in every class, but she didn't make effort into knowing his name. The boy said hi, and asked what the girls name was, and the girl replied and tried not to have a conversation. But the boy kept talking, the girl was sure he would stop. Maybe he would call her a name or hit her. But he didn't, the boy just wanted to talk to her. The girl went home to the small house, and crawled into her bed in the dark basement like always. Though a small flicker of curiosity sparked in her that night. Why did the boy talk to her, why did he not curse at her or push her into the locker? The next day the girl sat down at her class, wondering if the boy would come. He did as always and started to talk, the girl smiled and carried on, feeling a small prick of what may have been hope. This carried on for a week, until the boy asked if he could have the girls phone number. The girl gave it to him, curious as to why he wanted it. The boy texted her as soon as she got on the bus, and over the weeks they got to know each other more and more. They had so much in common and so much to talk about. Though the girl always held her feelings at bay, making sure not to appear like anything different than herself. This boy was different and the girl liked it. One day the boy asked the girl to date him. This scared the girl, she didn't know how to respond. She declined him, hoping that they could stay the same as the always had. But the boy started to drift away. The girl saw him with someone else, and it hurt her inside. She started feeling lonely again, not becoming really close with anyone else. She would wonder the halls alone. There were other people sure, but the girl felt empty, hollow without the boy. Then she got a text, it was a simple hey, but it made her sliver of hope come back. The boy had messaged her. The girl was not sure at first, but after a day she knew the boy was back. This boy was her one true friend. They boy told the girl he liked her, and this scared the girl yet again. She knew deep down that she did like the boy back. But she kept remembering the abuse in her past town. Being scared by the pressure of it she told him she just wanted to be friends. Inside her it cut her like a knife, lying to his face like that. He told her he understood, and that he would wait for her, if she wanted. The girl and boy became very close friends, many started stories about the girl, because they knew she wasn't with the boy. They told her she would never be good enough, and again she started to believe them. She never would fit the standards they had laid out, and she was broken. Nobody ever was told about the girls story, she kept it all inside for so long she didn't want to feel needy or dependent. The boy was the only thing that kept her grounded. Without him she truly was nothing. The girl new that she needed the boy. The boy was that piece that truly fit in her heart.
