Charlie is a laid back feline in most respects. He allows most things to slide off his back outwardly, but inside, he is a raging whirlwind of emotions he has yet to control. Due to his early life being in turmoil, Charlie is rather cautious of everything he does, and self conscious of his weaknesses in which he tries to hide from view. One of which is a mild lisp that he has yet to overcome his embarrassment of.
He absolutely adores Amaroq, the feline who saved him from captivity, and Andersen, one of the first cats to welcome him to his newlife. He is affectionate and doggedly loyal, with a gentle touch towards felines with a quieter disposition. His way of showing affection is typical in the way of hugs or embraces, but also in gifts and verbal compliments. He thinks of himself as a voice for those who won’t/can’t use theirs, and while this may cause problems, he is still young enough to learn when to hold his tongue and when to speak up. Passionate and assertive, Charlie needs a lot of patience and love to show him he doesn’t have to do it all.

HISTORY
     Charlie was born into the world shortly after the city began an intentional search for the murderous feline(s) nicknamed the Slasher. His family line seemed to be destined to be wiped off the map it seemed, for it was the slasher who killed his half brother and half sister a year before. His mother often told stories of a young city cub born to be a city guard, Chimaera, and his sister, Faithe, who were both killed in an incident with the slasher.
     Such was life, it wasn’t long before unfortunately, his family would be attacked by tragedy. At the young age of 4 months, the slasher murdered his mother while she was with his father and his two siblings. Charlie was the only one who stayed home that evening, and would never see his mother alive again. His father the next day left with his two healthier siblings, leaving him alone with a financially unstable couple who soon turned to thieving, using Charlie as their bait.
      This went on until mid-December, when Charlie was caught in one of his master’s scams, landing the humans in a jail cell and Charlie in the cages, waiting to be bought and retrained/tamed. While afraid at first, Charlie befriended a large lion hybrid named Amaroq, who told him stories of his homeland, Ice Empire. Intrigued, Charlie asked if Amaroq would bring him there - to be free and to start over. The lion hybrid promised, and now the cub awaits the day for their escape.
     Currently, Charlie is in the cages, growing a bit more feral each day as his distaste for humans grows larger and larger, not only for their lack of care and safety to his family, extended and immediate, but also to his former humans who had no one to help them onto their feet.
