FOLDER IS NOW CLOSED! Thank you so much to everyone who participated and to everyone who spread the word! We really appreciate everyone who checked out our small sn-ecies. Have a wonderful day!
Folder will be closing at 11:59pm PST! ALSO!! feel free to ask questions and spread the word! You can also work on getting extra traits (mentioned below). Please be sure to read carefully, since people seem to be getting a little confused!
Edit: The recommendation system now offers prizes for both the person recommended and the recommender!
We’re kicking off this species with a bang! People like MYO Events, right? Time to get those sneative (snail creative) juices flowing!
Make sure to check out our trait sheets for information on the species and what traits are available to you!
MYO Event Rules:
This MYO Event will begin on the 28th of June (12:00am PST) and end on the 30th of June (11:59pm PST).
These MYO slots will be non-transferable and will become void once the event has ended. Each person may only have one MYO.
No alternate accounts allowed! If we notice you using multiple accounts to nab more MYO slots we will blacklist you!
You must be a member of Snaileton-Sanctuary .
All traits used for this MYO will be common unless you use the method below!
You must post a journal with a link to this MYO Event before you begin designing your Snaileton! There is no need to post proof of this journal in the comments! As long as the journal is posted before or during the event-- preferably before the last day-- it counts!
When submitting your MYO, please include a link to the journal you made in the description, and put it in this folder for review!
Must be finished upon submission. Please do not submit an unfinished product to the group to edit later!
Gaining Rarer Traits:
All common traits, you ponder in thought. Is there a way to get access to rarer traits? Yes there is! We will be running a recommendation system for this event!
For every person you get to advertise/join this MYO, you (and the person who you got to advertise/join) will get various prizes (up to 3 people max!)
1 person: 1 Uncommon Trait
2 people: 1 Uncommon Trait
> 3 people: 1 Rare Trait
Please be sure the person you get to join replies below to featured comment designated for marking these recommendations! All they have to do is show the journal they made advertising the MYO event and tag you. Use of alternate accounts to achieve extra traits will get you blacklisted.
Once you post your Snaileton, put proof of these recommendations (in the form of links/screenshots of the comments in the recommendation thread) in your description along with a link to your journal, and be sure to mention which traits you made uncommon/rare!

Please go to the recommendation thread (www.deviantart.com/comments/1/… ) and post a link to the journal you made advertising the event, and tag them again down there! It'll be easier to track that way. Once you post it down there, you both get the traits! As long as you both put proof of this recommendation in the description of your Snaileton (a link to the comment works just fine!) along with everything else, you should be good to go!

I have some questions regarding design, for an uncommon shell, it's written "any other shell", can we use a seashell then (guess turtle don't counts, not that I plan on making one with a turtle shell I am just curious!). Also are we limited regarding clothing? is there specificity regarding this?

Absolutely! Seashells are perfectly fine!
Clothing you can go absolutely nuts with, there are no restrictions on what they wear!

Oh! It's okay to comment here no worries about that- And actually, you can't just tag 3 people, you have to get them to make a journal as well! In which they then have to reply in the thread below this comment with a link to the journal they made and tag you!
Also you should put proof of your journal in the description of your snaileton MYO when you've completed it.
Ah, and with the traits- you cannot put extra antennae on them, that would be a mutation (considering they already technically have antennae, the little nubs on the top of their head are that!)
Same goes for whiskers- mutation. We haven't posted the mutation sheets just yet, BUT we will soonish- likely after this event has concluded.
