I love the tree silhouettes. I have no idea why, but I think they just look beautiful. Sort of eerie, but beautiful.

Wow, this is wonderful and I really like this for a lot of reasons - why don't you like it? The placement of the tree and the stairs is very nicely and aesthetically balanced. The shadows and lights can really be stared at forever, especially the juxtaposition between the dark wall and the staircase's glow. Lastly, your title made me smile.
