Description

My in-laws are vacationing in Costa Rica right now, so I stopped by their house to make sure everything was in order.

Anyway, while they've been gone, fairies have apparently infested their garden. I'm really at a loss as to what do to. As you can see from the photos, they're very much established and clearly expanding...I'm not sure what I should do... borax? Diatomaceous earth?  Or maybe I should just pretend I never saw any of this and leave it to my in-laws to deal with?

Boy, my mother-in-law is going to be in for a surprise when she gets back, right around Mothers Day too.

Oh my goodness, this is such an adorable idea! Are those plants real or plastic or a mixture of both? I love the decoration around the door, how it transitions from like a French braid to something more ornate. Wonderful work on this and I hope your mother-in-law loves it.

Oh and unfortunately some of your thumbnails aren't working!

Thank you!
Yeah, I saw the issue with the thumbnails. Apparently there is a limit on how many thumbnails you can have in the description of a deviation. Kinda lame, but you can see all 12 pictures in the journal currently posted on my main profile page.
Also, I'm still building on it... the idea is to have a full fairy village with a fairy ring surrounding it by the end of summer. I just wanted to get these initial pieces in while my in-laws were away so they'd have a nice surprise when they got back.

The flowers and plants are a mix of real and fake (The flowers are mostly fake. The different types of moss are all real but preserved... and a lot of the surrounding foliage is just stuff that was naturally growing there.)
