Well, those of you reading A Great Escape probably figured that Lanying would need this eventually...even though she doesn't get married during the events of the story. (And I'm sorry I haven't updated A Great Escape in a few days, but give me a break for once, okay?)

So, yeah, I looked at pictures of ancient Chinese wedding gowns in order to design one for Lanying. I'm not sure if I got the time period right, and I completely BSed it on the patterns (remember: I'm not on Photoshop, I can't create patterns by selecting a fancy brush). But I'm kind of surprised by the fact that she actually looks pretty good in red.
