Agreeeed. Red just gets...so dark so quickly. And turns pink a lot, with paint anyways. I wish I could figure out a way to make a pale red without...just getting pink. Not even sure if that exists haha.

It's probably easiest with watercolor. Just use a lot of water with red, and it still looks red!

Ohh, that makes sense. xD I haven't used watercolors in a long time because my favorite little mini palette ran out. But I got a coupon the the supply store so I plan on getting more.

Hands do take time. I probably spend the longest on those and they aren't very detailed.
