So yes, I have recently tried giving MLP another go-- and so far it isn't all that bad.
And the characters are really cute! Rarity has got to be my fav thus far, next to Celestia of course. <3 Anywho hope you guys enjoy!Rarity © MLP

I love the character design of rarity. They could've easily made her the snotty rich girl but instead have her the element of generosity and made her the sweetest sweetheart ever. This portrays just that, a mix of elegance and softness. Good job

I don't really mind Fluttershy too much... It's just that lately her character development has all but stopped. Pretty much every episode she stars in is about her learning not to be shy, but she's back to being shy all over again in the next one. Also her fans... A lot of them are kinda creepy.
As for Rarity? It's just funny seeing the reactions of Rarity fans when you dislike her. It's actually pretty hilarious.
To me Celestia and Luna are both equally awesome, they couldn't exist without each other but I prefer Luna for personal reasons.

Oooh I see! Yeah I'm not that far into the show to see where everyone's personal development will come into play, but that sounds especially redundant for her. :/ Gah I just don't feel Fluttershy as a completely lovable character~ but I respect people who do adore her though!

I barely know anything about Mlp and all that,but this is some awesome coloring you've done here.I like how its not super blended in and you can see the strokes you've made.especially in the white fur.

Hahah same here!!! I've been coerced into to seeing episodes in the past, and I've just had a bit of down time these past few days (and ive temporarily run out of cartoons on netflix since ive watched them all!!), but it's actually a pretty cute show. :') I love watching it with the girls I babysit from time to time, they're just crazy about it! I think what I like most is I love all the creative color combinations and names for all of the ponies, its very interesting since they are sure to use unique and complementary colors. But honestly, you wouldn't have caught me even TALKING about this show, just had to give it a second chance is all I guess~!

Lol that's the longest reply i've gotten on another persons image ever I think.I watched a little bit of the show at one point just to see what was up with it,and its not bad,but not something I really wanna watch.fine with others watching it of course though . Don't get all the hate for people liking something they don't . Yes your paintings are getting better.It's hard to see improvements in your own stuff but others can definitely see it.Also just go back through your old stuff and you'll definitely see differences. I recently did it cause i was in a mini artblock and I saw some terribleness and boosted me a bit.
