I wondered what my mushroom-hat scouts would look like without their thick coating, and envisioned something warm, with thigh-high waterproof boots for walking in shallow waters. The suspenders and garterbelts just appeared out of seeming practicality, and in no way because I unconsciously recycled Nävis' clothing from book 17 of Sillage.

This particular scouts carries no gun, and prefers using bladed weapons, especially throwing knives. Thanks to using a variation of the Morphgun technology, they can combine together to form different sizes and types of blades, depending on which tool is more suited for the task at hand.
Jak & Daxter is the closest thing I've got to a religion (that and maybe dark chocolate), and #Jakmonth is a very legitimate holiday it is.
