Description
The Eagle Transporter was the workhorse of Moonbase Alpha. Modular and powered by a nuclear reactor it was capable speeds just approaching the speed of light. It could also enter and leave the atmosphere of a planet and land making it the perfect survey craft. However, its real power came in the form of its central modular bay which allowed it to carry any number of different payloads.

Shown here is the standard (default) pod for the transport version of the Eagle. It was designed so that it could be left deployed on a planet in order to operate as a temporary scientific facility or if needs be serve as a makeshift habitation while the craft (shown above) could scout around on its own.
