Continuing my journey to find a good replacement for my copic pad I then heard about the rendr pad and tried that next. It was pretty much the same thing...
The colors spread out and although the colors came out ok the lighter colors looked weird when making the first strokes. The only thing it does have going for it is the fact that it doesn't bleed through to the other side! I tried black on black on black on black and that didn't even bleed through.
I also heard gripes about the smell of the paper and its ok it just smells like baby wipes to me.
So in conclusion I may not use this sketchbook for copics either. Possibly Inktober next year, if I get a chance to participate (couldn't this month for personal reasons even though I really wanted to).
Where will my journey take me next? Well I might have found another candidate but the review may have to wait till Halloween...
