Even the light is dark.

Religious fanatics claiming to follow a bright, illuminated, straight and narrow.

Leaving blood in their wake.

Even to defend, though with purpose good and true...

Darkness of the soul must be the final resolve.

To perform any action which might do harm...

some small shard of blackened evil must enter our hearts to counter the gentle light which cannot help but be kind.

A fragment. A powdering of darkness can make light hard, give it resolve.

More can make light akin to evil, destructive and all-consuming.

The world I walk in is one of fine lines and balance.

Too much light. Too much darkness.

I am a child of the endless.

But it is my choice of which one.
