Tanuki! Lately I've been finally getting around to illustrating characters from the expansive pantheon of Japanese mythology. Here's my depiction of a happy-go-lucky tanuki (Japanese raccoon dog said to have supernatural powers and the ability to shape-shift, usually as a practical joke). More to come!
