Powers: Superhuman speed.
Story Then: Mijnari is the godson of the X-Man, Storm and a member of Storm's village in Mt. Kilimanjaro. He is possessed by the Shadow King who sought to use Storm as his new host body.

Storm agrees and is possessed by the Shadow King. With the help of the X-Man Rogue, Mijnari frees his godmother and traps the Shadow King into the astral plane. Afterwards Mijnari stays with his tribe and Storm and Rogue return to the X-Men.

Story Now: After the formation of X-Works, Mijnari visits his "cousin" Evan in Skull Mesa. He had the opportunity to go on a mission with the team and greatly aided them. Mijnari decides that he wants to join X-Works to "watch Evan's back". As a member of the team, Mijnari goes under the name Longrunner.
