i know realflow is really expensive, did you spent so much money for that program ?

TriZero In reply to fragmentNull [2009-03-19 10:04:23 +0000 UTC]

lol, what kind of question is that, ur basically asking me to tell u if i pirate applications

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

fragmentNull In reply to TriZero [2009-03-19 14:56:00 +0000 UTC]

i am not asking you if you pirate applications. the reaseon why i ask is very simple, i just want to know where you purchased it and if it is somewhere available for a cheaper price. i donΒ΄t care if you pirate applications, that should be of interest for the developers not for me.

8 days for one frame? Something is wrong. I have some seriously intense c4d polygon counts and shadow depth... but 8 days?

lol exaggerated, it was two but i had the hypernurbs set really high, and this laptop was designed for 2d

looks awesome, doesn't look like anything's wrong with it to my untrained eye
i love the 3d liquid fluid metal type of thing you can create with digital, and things crashing/breaking apart

This is damned impressive. Its very unique and very eye catching/pleasing. Excellent job. Which application did you create it with? Ive been using Cinema 4D and Maya for several years and could never achieve something like this, bravo!

TriZero In reply to GerryButton [2009-02-06 17:50:02 +0000 UTC]

the shape was started with free realflow render frames, and i imported them to c4d, and altered them quite a bit.

very abstract and totally cool looking! reminds me of some sort of liquid being splashed out. as if you took a high speed shutter on a camera and tried to take a picture of water. anyway,,im sure im totally off on what it was you were trying to display, but none the less I really dig it.

ur actually spot on, i was going for a fluid watery look, but like i said smoothing nurbs woulda ate my comp alive, so i went i diff way with the material
