so here are my personal picks for the 10 ben10 aliens i'd want if i had an omnitrix. i wanted a good balance of elemental powers and cool alien abilities. also it goers without saying that they all have amazingly cool designs. thanks and credit to ARW10 for compiling picks for me

cannonbolt-fast, durable
upgrade-morphable, can control/merge with technology
heatblast-fire creation/resistance and control
Overflow-durable metal body and mastery of water
Diamondhead-resilient and with many possible capabilities for crystal creations
Clockwork-a giant tinker toy with time powers, always good to have
Snare oh- crazy abilities with wrap body, can survive body disassembly, plus c'mon, he's an alien mummy
Alien X-to quote disney's genie, "phenomenal cosmic powers!". to be basically a cosmically powered being with near godlike powers. sure the alternate personalities are a drawback but loopholes and clever reasoning can easily sidestep them.
Swampfire-rare dual mastery of both fire and plant life, very impressive
terraspin-his strong natural abilities aside, who wouldn't want to be big turtle
