Description
I worked long and hard on this... did a lot of post work here and there as well as retexturing pre-render.I made the morphing python and the snake tail from Serpentina match a pattern that is similar to a poisonous adder native to Greece.
After doing this I decided that this would be my second and final entry in gods, goddesses and mythology contest found here: [link]
The elements are primarily 3d, though I did lots of work in photoshop to further enhance it.
I'm really pleased with the way it came out.

Have you ever seen The Clash of the Titans? Kinda cheesy special effects, but I loved Medusa. She had a snake tail like yours and a bow and arrow. She was really creepy

Ohhhh... I really, REALLY like this! I've just bought the serpent tail for V4, too, and it's cool to see it can look so good. The snake hair must have been HELL to pose? But it looks awesome.
The whole composition of the scene is great, it has such depth.

Oh yes the snake hair was hell to pose. And actually I postworked more snakes than were actually rendered. I rendered 4 snakes on her head. Then at one point I rendered them separately so I could have access to them and work them in. At some point I should do a walk through... something that shows my process of how I made something. Maybe I'll do that on this.
I am really glad you like it, composition is something I've become more aware of as of late, so I work on that a bit -- basically keeping the rule of three's in mind. Thank you Ansel Adams

did u model everything yourself? or just buy the model online?

Oh wish I could say I did, but that's V4 and the morphing python and the Serpentina snake tail. All I did was manipulate the morphs that came with the models and pose several snakes. It was a lot of hard work. As I said in the description I retextured the snakes and the snake tail. That would be from a model I bought, yes.
