Yo.This is my attempt at Negan from the Walking Dead ._.
Drawn with 2B mechanical pencil, erasers and cotton swabs. Definitely could have put a bit more effort into it in certain areas, but I started to get hit with fatigue like usual D: Also need to start using a scanner or something because the image, particular the beard hairs and stuff come out way too blurry. They're not nearly as sharp as they should be; though these are little problems.
I feel the drawing was a success, though my self doubt has been hitting me the entire time I've been getting ready to upload this. I just need to go to bed and tell my brain to fuck off, and I'm sure I'll wake up tomorrow happy with the results.

Fantastic job, I thought the highlights in his hair was done with a white pencil. ^^ How big was the paper/canvas?

Thank you! The paper is Strathmore Bristol Vellum surface, It's 9 by 12 inches. The highlights are done by me just drawing around it and smudging the edges =].

Bigger than an A4 but smaller than an A3... ^^ Wow, that's unbelievable for me. I now have an idea on how it can be done, but I'd still like to have a white pencil...

Thank you... It's very useful. ^^ I only have a Mono eraser stub, which is much broader than an eraser stick, and it could sometimes act as a cotton swab if I forget to rub it on a blank piece of paper.
That, and a ballpoint pen is what I have to work with for now, as my mechanical pencil isn't bold enough for dark areas and it could tear the paper, which is of a sketchbook... Unlike Bristol, that apparently every realism artist uses... It'll take a while until I can get the materials that'll make drawing much easier. :Y
