Description
This baby hedgehog is handmade from polymer clay without the use of any moulds. She is One of a Kind. She has been carefully painted and heat set before being βfurredβ and she has glass eyes. The soft mohair fur was applied a bit at a time, with the spines also being made of mohair. The whiskers were applied one at a time.Width: Approximately 5.8cm

I have a hedgie, and this is just so adorable - by far the best of the creatures, though I also love the little mouse who looks like it's reaching to be picked up. Such incredible detail in your work - don't know how you manage to make them so tiny and yet with so many specifics! Wish I'd come across this in time to bid, as I'd be thrilled to have a little creature like this baby hedgie in my life.

Hi Kennedy, thanks so much for your interest. I sculpt them from clay and then add the fur tiny bits at a time. I haven't put anything online as I'm so busy making the little things! The best thing is to buy some clay and have a go if you are good at that kind of thing - good luck! Shelley

Wow... I thought that was real... lol. I kept looking at it and examining it to determine if it was or not. But it looked real enough to me so I had to read your comment and was surprised to find out that it was made out of polymer clay! Simply well done and one of the most wonderful things I have seen on here. Lovely work!
