Hehe thanks!
Maybe just not for Halloween, it's suitable everytime. It sounds a good start (first chapter) of the fanfiction. Might be interesting to see Rocky transform to werewolf in mid air. Thankfully he bring his own parachute and it will help this werepuppy down to the ground safety. Although Ryder and others might all worried about him.
I am working on the last prompt 'Ripe' now. As for the 'Ancient' one, I start wonder what the temples look like here? It like Mayan's temple?

You said once that you wanted to do something with a Lycanroc evolution that way--dropping a parachute over it while it evolves, if I remember right. This might be a decent way to work that old idea into something more people might immediately 'get.' But yeah, that's the idea I was working with; werewolf Rocky parachuting down in the night breeze, getting as much space as possible between himself and those he could hurt before starting his search for the cure he needs on the ground. It might not have been the wisest decision to leave the Air Patroller mid-flight, but I imagine all his teammates were getting some sleep and thus probably wouldn't notice that he and his parachute are missing until later. (He just has to hope the canopy doesn't imprison him when he lands; a were-parachute ghost isn't much more likely to be cured than a werewolf willingly escaping from a bad situation.)
Yep--at least they'd be somewhat close to the one Kimba's family calls home in the 1997 movie. Tall enough that his big ol' cargo parachute can get caught on it, at any rate, and, of course, good-looking enough to be a worthy prison for the white lion.

Oh yeah that one, surprising you still remember that because it just an impromptu idea, but I like you to think about that. Although I thnk robodog will notice Rocky leaves the Air Patroller, but heh, maybe he can't stop him in that situation. All pups might hear Robodog's call out and wake up.
Oh well, I still think the chute will cover him when he lands. A little bit like Lycanroc evolution, it's a way to show Rocky's transformation, and it might be cute to see a werepuppy struggling under it as a lump for a little bit, and then burst the fabric.
Ah, I see now. I consider this one will be the my final of the Inktober. I am kinda miss digital, although I had fun with it.

Well, that's true. It'd be pretty hard to find where exactly Rocky jumped without eyewitness accounts. That being said, though, there'd definitely be a rush for everyone to grab their 'chutes and jump out after him!
I'd be just as happy with the transformation happening mid-air, too. Way I saw it, the parachute covering him would be a major inconveinence; he's gotta find that cure fast, and yet even as a werewolf he can't find an easy way out. However, maybe his 'new' claws might help him cut his way out; he didn't design the Paw Patrol's 'chutes to be as tough as, say, the ones the Pride Lands have, after all. It'd certainly unnerve the rest of the team when they find his parachute!
Fair 'nuff. :3 I think you said you were interested in doing something with young Ivana in the arctic as a redo of 'Freeze', but I understand why you want to get back to digital art.

Yeah, robodog is a pilot of the Air Patroller, so I guess he is the only witness to see half-transformed Rocky jumps out. I think he will call Ryder to get up and then sleepy eyes pups finds Rocky is missing and left the cargo door open.
Or my other ideas, maybe witness is not robodog but Marshall, he goes to pee and then he notices Rocky try to jump out the Air Patroller. Half-transformed looking Rocky might
frighten Marshall to fall unconscious, lol. They didn't need to follow Rocky immediately. In the morning, other pups will notice Rocky and his parachute pack missing first, and later find Marshall sleeps in corridor and waking him up.
I see, that's also a very strong image. It's hard to see werewolf transformation during mid air in any media; That was I going for, making him a little silly when the parachute covers him on the ground, but he uses his claws to burst the fabric fast (it reminds me one of episodes of Gargoyles shows the similar concept) I bet it's a important clue for his other teammates. (Yeah, Pride lands and Sky Howlers' parachutes are very tough but silky at the same time.)
I think it's worth to see the 'Ancient' pic because it's a complicated background on this Inktober. It needs time to finished, but I will try to make it more simpler. I think Ivana's one is more suitable in digital because the multiple background , so I didn't choice that for 'Freeze' later. Yeah, I have a desire to finish the early 1-4 pics, but I haven't decided yet.

Both of these sound great! To be honest, the idea of Rocky already being partially transformed as he gets ready to jump is really cool, too--there's a contrast to be had there, between the dim yet warm artificial lighting of the Air Patroller and the overwhelming shimmer of the full moon outside, as they clash over Rocky's body. Of course it'd freak Marshall out; he's never seen a werepuppy between two forms like that before. Heck, Marshall might not have been able to tell it was Rocky until after he found out both him and his 'chute were missing. Far as he knows, the werepuppy he saw was something else that stowed away and just wanted fresh air. While I honestly prefer Marshall being the only witness--you do have a valid point there, and him fainting does give Rocky a headstart--I enjoy the thought that Rocky's teammates were so tired after that last mission that when Robodog sounds his alert, they just go strap on their 'chutes and go after him as soon as they can instead of waiting 'til Ryder had a plan; he's their friend, he shouldn't just go jumping out without telling anyone! At the very least, it's a fun way to get everyone out into the sky.
I don't think mid-air werewolf transformations've ever really been done in regular fiction, to be honest. In this case he's already partially transformed as he jumps and is still in full control of his actions even after he transforms, but I like to imagine the rest of the transformation finishing just as his parachute opens, leaving him beside himself with worry as he floats down on the night breeze, his usually-friendly green recycling badge canopy now bearing a potentially dangerous werewolf. If anyone were watching, it'd be a pretty ironic sight to say the least. When he does land and gets covered--which you could say was his canopy wanting to imprison him until his friends arrived to help him with his condition--he'd probably spend at least some time under his silk looking for a quick way out before resorting to his claws. I wager he doesn't want to damage his own parachute if he can help it, but since he can't find a way out in the dark, he has to make one himself--thus leaving a clue for his teammates to follow later when they find his discarded parachute. Heck. that might actually have more of an effect if his friends arrive the next morning, so you're definitely onto something there.
Ah, fair 'nuff. Can't wait to see 'Ancient', all that being said--it'd be a nice capstone to see how you've grown your traditional abilities--but I can see you wanting the Ivana pic to be your first return to digital art. It's a fair point, and I can accept it.

Thanks! I got this idea from one of episode of Road Rovers blended with Taz parachuting out of the plane in its Looney Tunes Christmas special, and yeah, those lighting effect will make partially transformed werepuppy Rocky looks scary (oh maybe let he with a red eyes and his fur keep growing) and totally make Marshall freaks out! Yeah I think it's more effective to continue the next part of story, way better than let them all sleep to the next morning. It's more hard to find Rocky.
I agreed and I like how the ironic of the image. I don't know a bereft of reason werepuppy care his parachute or not, but it's a beautiful image. His canopy settles on him just like a mushroom doom and deflating, imprison him in a struggling lump form. This werewolf might be confused first and trying to find a way out qucikly, so unfortunately, he might destroyed it if he wanna to leave this stuff. Just like a blanket test to a dog.
I also think the rest of teammates, they're all tired after the whole day mission, so I think their searching Rocky parachute landing might not very smoothly.

That's a fair point. Don't want Rocky to get too much of a headstart, after all--as I recall, the original werepuppy episode had them get up only after Rocky started causing trouble in that form. Should only make sense that he'd end up getting everyone's attention the second time (or, considering that episode was a dream, the first 'real' time?) by scaring Marshall. One thing I did just think of, though--maybe the red eyes and longer fur are based more on Marshall's brief perception of the 'intruder' and aren't what Rocky actually has right then and there; he's more half-werewolf and half-himself by that point, the werewolf half entering the moonlight as he contemplates jumping out, and the pup half held back from turning by the Air Patroller's lighting. It'd just be that when Marshall gets his first brief look, he sees more of the 'stereotypical' werepup of legend and not the reality of the situation, which freaks him out, waking everybody up, and that would lead Rocky to decide to jump anyway. After all, in that ensuing chaos, it'd still take a while for everyone to get their parachutes on, especially given how tired they are.
Well, Rocky is still Rocky, werewolf or not. The show seemed to play things pretty loosely with the mythology there by giving him plenty of control over his actions and making him aware of the new abilities his werewolf form gives him, with the big reason why he ran off being much the same as this time--he doesn't want to scare or hurt anyone as a werewolf, so he left to find his own cure. So he'd probably still be able to appreciate his own parachute, despite the situation--which is why he wouldn't want to actually damage his canopy until he realizes he may not have much choice if he wants to find his cure quickly. He'll regret it later, but he's got sharper claws for a reason!
Hmm. Interesting thought there. Care to elaborate on that?

Indeed. I also think it's a good start with the story beginning: Maybe before the rescue, they're watching Apollo's tv show, that episode featuring Apollo against the danger werewolf. That werewolf designed creepy and scary, red eyes and longer fur, and that scene freaking Marshall out. Marshall still keep that impression so when the first time he saw werepup Rocky, imagining he is the danger werewolf from the show ( Air Patroller's red lighting also helps the atmosphere!) As for Rocky here, like you said, he knows he might be attack his friends later (or feel ashamed about this?) if he become the real werepuppy, that's why he decided to jump out.
Truly, the show didn't continue this idea anymore, that's a shame because it could be a fun ability on Rocky himself; Yeah, that's against his will, he still love his chute but he couldn't help but do it, letting he uses his sharper claws to damage his canopy is the way to continue the story. This clue will helps other pups to find him later.
Not too much on it right now, lol. It's a possibility because they're all tired here, and they'll land into the forest where Rocky lands in at night, and maybe start raining! That will help the searching mission become difficult.

That makes sense--though, honestly, even without that episode, it'd still be pretty scary to behold, especially if you're tired like Marshall and just want to get yourself relieved so you can go back to sleep. Fun foreshadowing, to be sure, but that scene may not be the first thing on his mind after a long day of helping people abroad. Heck, he might not even know what he just saw glaring at him coming out of the bathroom; all he knows is that he freaked out just looking at it, and he didn't know it was Rocky until later. Not that Marshall's reaction wouldn't still justify Rocky's blind jump into the night, of course--he just got spotted by someone that wouldn't understand his problem, as far as he's concerned, and now everyone's waking up.
Hmm, interesting way of looking at it. Rocky could be relieved to find that he's been covered by his parachute, since his 'normal puppy' mindset would be under the impression that the green silk blanket'd keep him under control until help (or at least more understanding teammates, anyway) arrives, but his sharper claws end up tearing holes in the fabric while he fumbles around, trying to get comfortable beneath the silk, unintentionally engineering a fast escape that he begrudgingly takes advantage of in the name of getting this werepuppy problem solved as quickly as possible. Just hope his teammates don't get the wrong idea when they see his torn-up canopy and start thinking the werewolf attacked Rocky while he was trapped in his parachute!
Hmm! That sounds like a good challenge. Maybe they weren't able to track down Rocky's LZ 'cause they couldn't see his open canopy through the cloud layer, and that gave him time to escape and start his search for the cure--on top of all the tree landing incidents and otherwise bad landings that could occur in the meantime because of how tired everyone else is. Besides, it'd be pretty easy to get separated from one another, on top of that, especially given their tiredness and the incoming rain making it hard to see.
