Description Here's a shot from Thanksgiving Morning. Took *BuckNut and ~MariusStormcrow over to the Little Stoney area in the Jefferson National Forest, got rained on but had a good time! I thought I'd try a b&w conversion on this one

Very cool. The b/w brings out detail in many places.

Very nice crisp and contrasty scene. My favorite part is the tree that leans way out over the water on the right side. Gives depth to the scene.

The contrast of the fall area is what makes this shot so perfect for B&W. Really great shot. I was wondering what you think about cloning out the blurred leaves in the water? Not that I think you should or shouldn't, the reason I ask is that I took a similar shot and cloned out 2 blurred leaves. You could hardly see them to begin with but they were a little distracting. Do you think the movement of the leaves is a good thing as it adds motion to the water or ....??

Thank you
Personally I like the movement of the leaves, like you say it does give the pool of water some motion. But I can see to where some could find them distracting. So I guess it's just personal taste

Ok...why the HELL don't you do black and white more often?? This is excellent, love the tones here, and that tree that reaches into the distance really gives this image more of a three dimensional look to it..awesomeness (is that even a word?! LOL)
This is absolutely beautiful Tom!!
