I'm about to head to Corpus Christi to get ready for RealmsCon , an anime convention that will be going on there this weekend (Oct. 2nd ~ 4th). I'll have a table set up so feel free to drop on buy and get prints and sketches if you're in the neighborhood.
This image is a commissioned design for a new mascot for RealmsCon. Her name's Aiko Takara and she's actually a co-mascot along with Realm, the original mascot which can be seen on the RC website. If I understand correctly, they're planning to have a model cosplaying as this character, so should be interesting to see.

The convention itself is pretty small, but it's free to browse through the Artist's Alley so you could do that if you wanted.

odd, i never even heard of anything being in corpus... guess it's a "covert" con hrhrhrhr congrats on getting a table. hope it's as big as they hope it will be. I remember the anime con they had here a few years back, it left a lot to be desired. For some reason they had all the staff females wearing sexy outfits. not many if any were that good looking.

Yeah, it's a pretty small convention. They're limited by the hotel size so if they want to expand, they seriously need to move to a larger venue.
