Sushi: a fabled delicacy when you live off a street rat diet and dumpsters.

This was Chicago, IL.
After a day of biking on our borrowed bikes and hunting stores to peddle our goods, we finally had some cash.
Instead of saving it for the next city we'd ride to, we splurged at the first Japanese restaurant we could find.
The eyeballs of passersby scoured over our patched-up hoodies and unwashed, uneven haircuts as we shoved the rice, ginger, and soy sauce passed our grinning lips.
A tire nearly takes four of my toes.

And we laugh.
