With bitter juice from the tiny fruit
Catcher batter pitcher fielder
1st base the tree
2nd the back wall
3rd the bench
(When it matched the tree)
Invisible runners always there
More you have the better you'll fare
Tony'd pitch
Henry'd catch
And Maria and I'd switch
the stories of our baseball games untold
Our parents always seemed to wonder
Where it was all the limes went
While to our neighbors yard's in broken bits they were sent
