Darkwing Duck anyone? Batman may have inspired those poster/sign things the ponies had, but the suit design is totally inspired by Darkwing. Heck, she's basically wearing the exact same hat, and their color palettes are pretty similar with the purple and blue. Although the differences pretty much end there, being that Mare Do Well was a silent, statuesque hero, while DW was more of a selfish vigilante. Mare Do Well also has more secret identities than Darkwing, having at least four separate "people" who wore the suit through the course of the episode. Also ponies and ducks are hardly the same species, but I thought that was pretty obvious.

I've decided to make these quick art type things each week for the new episodes, and submit them at least before the next one airs. I'll be referring to each of them as "Things a Week" or TaW. With season 4 finally finished, I'll be returning to the older episodes I have yet to cover until I run out.
