Description Here's the official map of Westeros from my own hand. Every single castle has it's own illustration. Every single one. Now let me just say, there are a lot of castles in the Seven Kingdoms!

In the end I created a contact sheet of keeps and towers and used those in combination to create the array of fortifications in the continent. Each featured castle (Winterfell, Dragonstone, The Twins etc) received a full treatment from scratch. The post has a collection of detail shots of the castles of Westeros: [link]

My brother owns all of these and when we're watching it together I keep going "Wait where are we now?" And then he reaches up and points to the spot on the maps on the wall xD Great work!!!

Where can we get one?

If I could I'd give you the Hugo award for Best Fan Artist.

That's... that's amazing. The level of detail is impressive. How big is it printed? Were there areas that had a surprising level of detail/ lack of detail when you looked them up?

It's 2 feet wide and 3 feet long.

I was surprised at how much detail there was on the castles we don't visit in the books - Highgarden, Casterly Rock and others. Westeros.org really was a lifesaver for those.
