I did most of this weeks ago, but I only just completed it.
One of my biggest pieces. Took a long time compared to my normal work.

The background is from a promotional wall paper for Metroid Prime 3, and is not of my creation. However I did pick it to flow with the theme I was giving Samus. I used the blue parts on her suit to add a glow to her suit that made her look not only powerful, but also majestic and almost calming.

This was one of the first spriting pieces I did where I went away from my normal messy shading and outlines, and went to a more controlled, smooth shading, to match with her armour.
