Description love like a text-book manual
or more so it was an unconventional
how to not love your lover
anti-ameliorate

inculations of love
because, you see
it bares repetition
five times fast
lovelovelovelovelove

like rose petals-
scents fading into obscurity
wilted remnants ,tawny in hue
falling and scraping on berber carpeting
intonations akin to pages turning

page thirty states-
this stage is critical
end of infatuation
signalling trouble
immediate remedies needed

your voice carried on the wind
like a subtle breath of lavender
whispering of adoration and ardor
fades slowly leaving only
lingering fragrances and sweet remorse

chapter 5: happiness is not included
like batteries, you must acquire your own
never fail to continually embrace
and reflect back on the moment you knew
that forever was only 2 centimeters away.

As it has been said before, that last stanza is amazing. All of your work is amazing. I am in love.

i was just kinda floatin' along....likin' it...

the last stanza made me love it. reading it made my heart do that little jumpy thing, and it made me want to smile, hug the whole world, cry, and die all at the same time.

most of your stuff does that to me. sometimes i don't read them just because i know i'll want to fav them. so i wait until i stumble across them, then fav them when you least expect it.

I dread to think what page thirty one says....thats a nice sentiment for a poem. well, perhaps not nice...but i do like to see romance turned on its head and given a good thrashing from time to time...

maybe it's the mood I'm in, but I didn't think this was warm at all. Except maybe warm in the way a dying dear is warm.

but what do I know? I'm not exactly in a love-is-the-greatest-thing-ever mood. yah dig?
Anyway though, I do like this. You have some very clever sentences in here Tricia.

so, i sat here for about two minutes thinking about how to respond. and i came to the conclusion that i'm a failure at writing good comments unless i have a lot to critique.

so, fuck it.

i like this.

Thank you for posting this!

Like I told you before, this is very very beautiful. And that last stanza absolutely gets me. All in all, this is very captavating and a very warm feeling poem.

I like the thought of the school books also. Goes along with the learning of new things about ones self.

Excellent. This is a fav, in every way.

nice poem, a lot of metaphors, my favorite is
"happiness is not included
like batteries, you must acquire your own"

Very good!
