Description As always, this was a photo-manipulation that was pieced together either using pieces from Imperial Armour and the Black Books (or both) from Black Library and photoshopped together.

Continuing on from the last post: an up an coming Iron Hands successor chapter of the Adeptus Astartes hailing from an unknown (though implied to be Second Founding), the Sons of Orcus. Here is a sergeant of the tenth devastator/fire support of the third War Clan's ninth company. A bit more from my last post where I'm still chipping away at an Index Astartes entry for the Sons of Orcus:

Piecing together a narrative from disparate sources all archived within the aforementioned data-banks of the Administratum – post-action reports, archival footage and pict-logs, recorded testimonials, chrono-stamps, and requisition orders – that mention the Sons of Orcus. The majority of these earliest extant records found pertain to the War of the Beast in 544.M32 and onward. In using these, historitors have been able to piece together and place the Chapter’s Charter of Founding between the Second and Third Foundings by consulting the registry of bulls of the Brazen Claws and the Red Talons, wherein a chapter of ''...Mor’s third talon of sable, argent, and azure'' is described as having been ''isen with the Keys of Hel'' alongside the former – but more sceptical scholars – squabble over these interpretations of the text or otherwise discredit the writings themselves as being unreliable. Thus instead proposing that the Chapter are of the Fifth, Sixth or even Tenth Foundings; in spite of this, most historitors have by way of consensus agreed that these scriptorial writings and ledgers demonstrate to a satisfiable degree that the Sons of Orcus were indeed raised alongside the Brazen Claws and the Red Talons from within the ranks of Clan Morragul upon the calling of the Second Founding.
