Description

This is at least 6 years old, which means it's time to pull the plug on having this in my WIPS. I told myself for a long time that I was going to touch this up and complete it, but it doesn't reflect my art or Vince's design anymore, and the technique with which I was putting this together was incredibly tedious, requiring mass amounts of manual layer merges every time I wanted to even preview the animation.

I got most of the way there, all I'd still wanted to do to make that motionless leg not look so stiff, and to add movement to those fingers and hands to make them more alive and smoothed out, but my time, focus, and motivation never quite outweighed how painful it was to work on this.

I'm still very fond of a lot of aspects of this (really most everything that isn't The Vince). I might redo this some day and make it something I can be proud of. If not, at least it was a learning experience in animation that I still look back on. I think it's worth having in my gallery for posterity's sake.
