As a friend put it, humans are a walking bunch of contradictions. They're both the same, neither is better than the other. They complement each other, and yet are part of a whole--you. It's like the concept of yin-yang, for example.

This is beautiful...soft like a painting...and despite the amazing detail of the background, it doesn't take away the main focus. It blends together nicely without a cut-and-paste look. *_*

ooooh~!! Thats brilliant~!!! And nice concept!! i have one like it myself ... only i think the both are soul twins, they coexist, there is no one, without the other!!!

The characters are beautifully done, in their contrasting way and the background is SUPERB!!

oh, goodness! the colors you chose complement one another so well! and the sence of atmosphere in the background is a lovely touch, indeed. ^^ the lineart aswell is very interesting. it doesnt seem to stand out too much, but is visible enough to give a great impression. the rock thing that your representing characters are sitting on also cought my eye.. the reflection of the light sining off the water was done very, very well. just like the lines, not too much and not too little. a wonderful work, indeed. im impressed! :3
you have a fantastic sence for colors and shading, i look forward to more of your work. ^^

yay, you're back!!!! lol! yeah i used to be a smoker and i always liked to smoke, but i quit, and geez it was hard. anyways, i love this pic it's much like the situations i was in, some times i liked it be the innocent sweet girl and sometimes i liked to be the lusty dark bad girl. i realized that's hard to find a centre between the two, so keep on trying, we believe in you.
