This was an illustration for a medical school. It is of a nicotinic receptor. While I didn't fully understand the scientific explanation the requesting doctor sent me I still managed to give him exactly what he wanted apparently. He was very pleased with it.Related content

I kind of remember this concept from physiology class. Once the the aCh is activated, the sodium can go inside of the cytoplam and activate other activities. Great work of art.
