Description
My take on a Griffin that lived during Pleistocene. As you can see, this mythical beasty is all bird. took a little inspiration from terror birds and Archaeopteryx when designing this bad boy. I imagine it soaring through the skies of Pleistocene North America, hunting horses, camels, pronghorns, bison, baby mammoths, and the occasional ground sloth. I also imagine that the ancestors of Native Americans would've encountered this predator and being the basis for the legends of the Thunderbird.
