Nah it is pretty interesting noticing how different people draw different types of human characters.
Sometimes it gives a good clue into their perspective on life (Milt Gross is one of my favorites in this department because you can tell from the characters he drew that he saw life as one big goof-fest).

indeed it s really interesting to see why they have this take on things and not another one
and if they do it on purpose or if it comes naturally.
In a way it could be just his default body type to draw; BUT it also could be due to other things like an ideal image or a message that he wants to send(not always consciously)
i got interested by this side of things when i friend of mine told me i always drew skinny girls(when i was a teen)
odd as it may seem i hadnt noticed me repeating the same thing over and over again xD it was just what i wanted tot draw.
but once he told me that i felt the urge to try new things xD sometimes we just dont notice stuff we do before someone points it out xD
