Description
This was a really cool yet surprisingly challenging commission I got at Phoenix Comic Con. The amount of Okami art I have is continuing to explode, but I love it so much and I love seeing people react so positively to it! This girl's favorite animals are lions, and she asked if I could draw a lion and lioness as Okami brush gods. :3 I jumped at the chance, but man drawing lions was a lot harder than I thought haha... also I had some difficulty thinking of how to pose them.. even now I'm not entirely happy with the pose, but ah well. Also, I had forgotten that coloring all of my chibi Brush Gods had totally killed me gray markers, so I started coloring this and like less than halfway through they really started to choke and die and I had a bit of a heart attack haha. Luckily I think it still came out nice! I like how the BG came out too. And again my client was so sweet and wonderful to work with, all in all a great learning experience haha.

P.S.
I was thinking what a Lion Brush God's power would be, and I was thinking maybe something to do with family or relationships.. or perhaps courage? What do you think their power would be?
