Description
For a few moments the foul taste of some kind of cloth in his mouth and the biting pressure of leather straps around his body and wrists were all he knew through the haze. As he tried to focus and squirmed into a sitting position on the cold tile floor, he cast his mind back and tried to remember how he had gotten into this predicament.
The last thing he could remember was a sudden smell of leather, then a hand clamping itself over his mouth and a Beeject gun being shoved into the side of his neck. He'd barely had time to struggle and let out a muffled cry before whatever he'd been shot up with overwhelmed his system and he fell into darkness.
The realisation he was too groggy from his drugging to really call upon his powers meant he was even more on edge when a voice spoke. "Aw, has the sleepy-head woken up? About damn time, how'd you get to be such a pain when you're this lazy?" He shifted from his position on the floor, trying to turn towards the source of the sound, before a black figure leapt into his field of vision and nonchalantly knelt down to his level.
It had his face. For a split-second he thought the mystery figure had held up a mirror to him, but he blinked and saw the hair was all wrong, the eyes were wrong, the black leather clothes were wrong, and even if he weren't currently bound and gagged he wouldn't have the strange mix of amusement and malice on his face the other boy did. "I must say I'm glad to meet you at last, brother dear. Although I'm afraid you might not be."
He shrank back, boots squeaking on the tiles as his smirking captor continued, a Beeject gun dangling in one hand like an afterthought. "You see, our Mother wants you dead. Me? I want to make you suffer first."

So yeah. I spent this weekend being reminded this game series/OVA existed, and realising I have a love/hate relationship with it. The plot makes an astonishing lack of sense, the games are pretty bad (don't you dare try and say "oh it's because you're used to x modern game feature", I grew up with Resident Evil 2 for chrissakes) and that OVA had an edgy as fuck English soundtrack from what I remember of it (and I'm saying this as a huge Skinny Puppy fan). But hey, it was part of my misspent childhood and dear god so many of the character designs are cute as hell - some of the worstfirst things I uploaded here were Galerians fanart. Even twelve years later I still want to take Rion or his twin home.
Also woo pencils! I got some fancy erasers (read: actual decent quality ones) so I think I'm going to do a lot more pencil sketches. At least until the watercolour stuff gets here.
