Nice.... Fakir's past self was clearly a badass...up until he died horribly. When you think about it...the wound he suffered would have missed his heart so he couldn't have died instantly. Meaning he could have been aware as he was lying there...on the ground...bleeding out...slowly and painfully dying. Also...some of his insides may not have been inside anymore.... I have a...graphic imagination. And I started thinking about how he probably died... I SHOULD NOT THINK EVER!!!! Of course now I want to write this as a fanfic... The hell is wrong with me...?

brutal and gory I bet. Being sliced in half doesn't look pretty it also must hurt so much, that his body would go numb and pain wouldn't even be relevant to him.

There is also the added difficulty of trying to breathe when one lung has clearly been sliced in half and the other has at least been nicked. He be able to get some air, but not enough to keep him from feeling a certain degree of the flavor of panic known as 'Oh my God, I can't BREATHE!!!' Also known as suffocation anxiety. Not to mention trauma induced shock is a thing. So he'd be dealing with those symptoms on top of everything else. I can think of a few more traumatic ways to die than being sliced in two pieces (it isn't quite half if you look at the wound track...both in the picture in the book and as traced out by Fakir's birthmark), but not many. All in all...yeah, not a nice way to go.
