The first time I heard this that I can realy remember is from my Mother on the first day of kindergarden as her hand slipped slowly from mine. I never realy knew what it meant at the time. Just that I had someone to run to and protect me. Someone to protect in turn.
But theres a diffrence between love and in love. The first time I said these words was in a dark room huddled closly to someone very special. It wasnt said all day, though I strongly fealt it. Maybe somethings dont need to be said for people to know. Like a look in there eyes or a connection never shared with another. maybe its the fact that you know it was never shared with another person.
No matter how many times i have said it recently I still feel as if it was the first time in that dark room. No where to hide from my veaunerability. No where to hide myself. Always a fear of loosing this feeling. Fear of not hearing it back.
