O Valencia- one of my fave Decemberists songs, and one of my favourite romeo and juliet retellings. This is part one--when they meet. I love the idea of their story taking place during the 40's gangster era. 40's fashion might be my favourite of all---Why is it so hard to find?!Related content

This is wonderful! I love how they have this... I don't know, this contained passion, or something. Or at least that's what I get out of the picture; you can tell there's so much emotion locked inside!

oh yay! i love the decemberists and this is pretty much my favorite song by them! you did an awesome job depicting the charaacters. I also really like your style. You ever see Sean Gordan Murphy's work? this piece reminds me of his, though not nearly as gritty. Keep up the good work though!
