I hope I get near that quality at some point. I am just starting out on painting water guns. It has been fun to, and also lots of work figuring out how to use some techniques. I do like the way you aged your piece. Very well done.

thanks! it's all in the layers. i also take the whole thing apart and paint each part individually. you have some good pieces. i'd be interested to see your style evolve. keep it up!

First off, Thank you for the kind words, I have heard about people taking the Nerf guns completely apart to make some kick butt guns. I plan to buy a Vulcan at some point and steampunk it up. only after I get really good at painting because I don't want to drop a pretty nickle on it until my skills are much better. I have hopes for my style. They come from years of art training. Thank the heavens for the painting classes I have taken. They have come in handy. I just need to take more of them.
