I was working on some other stuff, and then I decided I wanted to try this.
I like making sporadic decisions some times. And cats are more entertaining than I like to admit.

Name: Ames
Gender: male
Age: 9 months
Breed: Abyssinian mix (apparently they come in tabby patterns too)
Gang: Cahaya
Rank: Student (future Guard)

Personality:
Ames isn't particularly excitable or hyperactive (when he grows up, for now he's pretty hyper), he's usually well mannered, and can be quite good company. He's clever and quick on his feet as well.

Unfortunately, he can also be a bit of a cocky jerk in some situations, lazy, and isn't always perfectly loyal.

Brief History:
Ames was born to a litter of 4 kittens. Both of his parents were alive and supplied all of them with just enough food to get along. They lived in constant fear, but then, so did everyone.
Once he was old enough to somewhat fend for himself, Ames decided that he didn't want to live with his family anymore. He preferred to think of himself as somewhat independent, and didn't really understand blood loyalty. So one day he just walked off. He'd heard of the Cahaya and Suran Gangs, and decided to try his luck with the Cahaya, mostly because their base was closest to where he was raised.

/ Polaris- She's awesome! I wouldn't say it to anyone, but I felt a bit weird trying to make friends with the other apprentices. They're both she-cats, so that's understandable, right? Anyways, I would never regret knowing her, she's the nicest cat I've ever met.

Lliam- He's my mentor, and I've made it my goal to meet his expectations. Training to be a guard probably isn't going to be easy, it's a dangerous job and I might not live long at it, but it's such an honor. I know I'll never be able to thank Lliam enough for teaching me!

Damian- That guy scares me. No joke, he tried to eat my head... and my paws and my ears and my tail.

Asher- I guess I owe him one, since technically he's the reason I made it away from Damian mostly in tact. So, as a memo for future reference, thanks Asher!

Symone- I just saw her this one time with Asher and Paige. I didn't actually talk to her or anything, but she seemed alright.

Paige- Again, I just saw her from a distance and never said anything to her, but she didn't seem that bad either.

Roleplay Example:
"Isn't it absolutely beautiful?"
Ames dropped a dead rat on the cement balcony of a crumbling building. The day was neither hot nor cold, and the sky was clear, showing off the dead city in all of its color-drained despair. There was nobody with the young cat, he was all alone except for his lifeless meal, and at the moment that was all he had.
"I sometimes wish the sun would stay up forever, so that I wouldn't have to live in a group, and everything would come back to life like it's supposed to. Don't you think that would be nice?"
He glanced down at the dead rat, which offered no response. It just sat there, limp, with its mouth slightly open so that he could see the white teeth and pink tongue. The fur around its neck was wet from being carried around, but it was still fresh.
"You're extremely boring you know." Ames scolded the rat. He wished he could eat it, but this meal was not for him. He needed it as an offering, a gift for the cats of Cahaya.
