Beautiful as always! Mr Salem does the same thing to me when I try to photograph him..I think he's completely over the whole camera thing..

He's such an ornery thing. I think he learned it from Loki who seems to disappear when the camera comes out. Sigh.

I did not know that we had Butters to thank.... toss an extra few treats on my behalf

Indeed, we do!! And he got a nice portion of Fancy Feast in thanks--he loves Fancy Feast, in fact, I can say "Who wants Fancy Feast?" and he'll come running from wherever he is in the house to have some.

Thought you may enjoy this If it doesnt open lemme know kuz I actually KNOW you will Donβt forget to hug your fuzzy ones!! Subject: CAT HOUSES ! Man Built a Sanctuary for Homeless Cats Craig Grant bought a tree farm far away from the city and turned it into a sanctuary for all the cats he has rescued. He lives there with the cats and provides lots of love, care and companionship. Itβs hard to imagine that once he was not a cat lover and did not want cats until he met his sonβs cat Pepper. He also got to experience what it is like raising a litter of kittens.βOver that time I learned that every cat had its own unique personality and it wasnβt long before the kittens were swinging from my curtains. I didnβt care. Something had changedβ¦ I didnβt want to give them up.βThe condo life was not easy for the kitties, so Craig found a tree farm and settled down there for his fur babies. Over the next several months, he rescued more and more homeless and abandoned cats. The number of new residents kept going up, so Craig expanded the sanctuary to make more room for the animals. There are supposed to be pics here........

Awww what a sweet thing this guy has done! I went out and found the pics and even found the website. I have a stray I HAVE to find a home for before the winter and I really wish I were close to him so I could bring Bing there too.

I thought it was awesome too Good luck with Bing too eh. Is he named after the crooner himself?
tleach0608 In reply to freezeframe666 [2010-08-30 02:27:43 +0000 UTC]
He is! We had Frankie (Blue-Eyes) who passed away this past March after three years, and so we have Bing and Sammie (named after Sammie Davis Jr) Our strays get distinguished names from some amazing crooners of the past.

There is no way I would put our Canadian crooner in the stratasphere of Bing or blue eyes but "BUBLE" would be a fun name for a cat
tleach0608 In reply to freezeframe666 [2010-08-30 12:49:28 +0000 UTC]
LOL It definitely would, and there's nothing wrong with Mr. Buble, he has a fantastic voice, I love his music.

His expression does seem to say "Why are you photographing me yet again?" but he's so beautiful, what can he expect?
tleach0608 In reply to groundhog22 [2010-08-29 19:36:19 +0000 UTC]
LOL Exactly! It's his fault for being such a pretty kitty.
