This is not my favorite of your pieces, although it does have good qualities, like Edward's hair, the overall composition, her lips and eyes.
For me, I would rather not see diagonal hashing on top of contour lines of her hair, which removes the energy from the flowing hair. The use of shading is for both contour and tone, and they can be done in harmony. Think of how you can give her hair volume/body
If you think first in terms of your light source and how you want the darkness and lightness to fall across your piece, then ideally you can adjust pencil pressure, angle, or lead to get your desired darkness/lightness as you line in and shade in areas.
Think in terms of how you can create more dimensionality in the piece. The camera took what is basically a continuous tone image. You are interpreting that in your drawing.
I hope this is not sounding unduly critical, as that is not my intent.
