Professor Watts is the SIDEKICK and not the main protagonist! What's more, he's someone you'd normally expect to be the villain, which he probably would be in other circumstances!

BACKGROUND: The one that started it all. Peter Watts' past is unknown, but it's rumored that as his intelligence grew at a nearly uncontrollable rate, he saw himself as superior towards the rest of mankind, and had gained delusions of grandeur. First ideas to usurp a position at the work office. Then ideas on how to become president through "unconventional means". Then, how to take over the world. Albeit once people saw through him and discovered what a psycho he really was, he stopped pretending. And showed his true colors, through mad science.

Little did he know, one of his schemes would cause his downfall as a villain, and his uprising as a hero! During his attempt to use a war machine that uses civilians and supers as living batteries, a regular woman broke out of her holding cell. And rather than escape with her life, she sacrificed herself to save everyone else, by destroying the machine's engine. And...the resulting super-explosion is what gave birth to Lady Millennium. The Iron Lady who stepped up to stop him time and time again. And eventually turn him over to the side of good, by winning one last battle against him that determined their stances from there on out. And eventually even married her after said battle!

He had done a lot of bad things during his run as a supervillain. While he was still evil, he discovered Lady Millennium's weakness, and shared it to other aspiring supervillains. He brought the military and government to its knees multiple times, letting them know how outclassed they are against supervillains. And so many doomsday machines...having been reformed, he realizes how atrocious it all is.

It's what drives him to work that much harder to atone for all of his actions. It's what drove him to create Techno-Watts Inc. A company that sells inventions to improve the lives of Proxima City's townspeople. It's what drove him to be a good father to his children, to ensure that none of them will end up like him. And really, for someone who used to be bad, he's pretty good at being...well, good.
