Description
Bonus (short) dialogue before you read the main story about this post (explanation about why I haven’t posted is at the end):
* “When I looked at my reflection in my mother’s eyes, I could also spot a sad sparkle flashing. As if a maddened lightning struck in her eyes.”
”I can’t believe what path StarClan decided to give my kit! I can’t even look at him and his.. his terrifying scar!” Butterflywing hissed, a tremble dressing up her voice.
Sadness shook Shadowfrost out of his dreaming, thinking how possibly could a WindClan cat hurt a kit? It was against the warrior-code.
”I’ll still be able to become a warrior, mom! I promise you that!” Dapplekit vowed, but his mother’s icy glare told him otherwise.
”How?!” Butterflywing spat, “Tell me how!” She turned to Shadowfrost who was as speechless as Tigerkit, “When he will be ambushed by two rivals; one in his left and the other in his right, how will he see what the opponent in his right is doing?! Tell me! He will be defeated! He will die, Shadowfrost!”
Dapplekit tried blinking with his only eye. It started becoming watery, as everything blurred. He thought the blur will erase everything he felt that moment, but his mother’s words left him scars, and an empty spot in his heart. Unlike his eye scar, the wounds caused from his mother will remain permanent, even when he will join StarClan.

* “Not every flame burns forever, and the light will push aside the smoke, which will make it look as if it’s gone, but it leaves us a memory, on how it hardly let us breathe.”
Flamingstep couldn’t help but let his hairs freeze in the same standing position as he kneaded the starry carpet from under his paws. He was overwhelmed with a fear he has never felt before. Even the bravest has a fear, but they were called “brave” because no matter what, they faced what scared them the most. This thought haunted his mind, but as long as he believed in it, he had courage and ambition beside him. His steady, muscular built tensed, and Grayclaw could sense he was planning something. Flamingstep shrunk a little, resting on his hind legs, but his head remained high. Sitting tensely, he waited for the right moment to make a lunge at grayclaw, and with a swift, smooth movement, his claws slid across the tom’s matted-bristled fur, drawing a deep gash that shot out bullets of blood. A yowl of pain pierced through the clearing, hitting the invisible walls of the empty sky. The ginger tom bounced backwards when Grayclaw attempted to aim for his throat. Flamingstep glued his gawp on the fellow tom’s sharp, bloodthirsty fangs. His lips curled into a growl when the gray cat pinned him to the ground, his hooked claws cascading into his pelt. He felt weak in his own skin, as if he was struggling to swim above the water of an ocean, whose currents pulled him to the bottom. Fear sank to his bones as Grayclaw’s glare stood upon his. Flamingstep felt a cold wind running through his ginger cloak, having no idea what to do now.
”Ever since your appereance, I knew you’d be able to become a strong feline. But, never as strong as the spirits of vainglory and revenge, Flamingstep.” Grayclaw spat, as Flamingstep could hear a shrill strain pressing on his voice.
”That’s right,” Flamingstep uttered loudly and decided, “Because my level is too high to match the spirits’ of vainglory and revenge.”
The ginger tom hit Grayclaw’s belly with his hind legs, flinging him off. He could hear him retorting Impossible! Turning to him, Flamingstep reared, his paws plunging towards the gray cat. Cautiously, he let his sharp fangs descend into Grayclaw’s throat, drowning them in his cold blood. His ears were deafened by the tom’s blaring, a red blanket settling on the ground. Grayclaw coughed twice before hauling Flamingstep by his scruff and throwing him across the clearing. The ginger cat quivered in the cold wind’s blow as he tried to stand up. I fought like a mercyful coward all this time. He thought. No, I wasn’t the cat everyone feared, but now, I must be.
Flamingstep straightened his posture and flexed his broad shoulders. Half-squatted to the ground, he prepared to leap, claws unsheathed and eyes focused. He vaulted towards Grayclaw once more, but this time, he launched at his side. Confused, the gray tom turned around, when, as fast as the raindrops dripping from the sad, tearing clouds, Flamingstep slid under Grayclaw on the other side, attacking him from behind. His claws tore at his ear, ripping it out. As Grayclaw was distracted by the crying blood, the other tom managed to knock him to the ground. Gracefully, Flamingstep put his paw on Grayclaw’s throat, where his wound was lenghtening and its blood painted his fur red.
”Justify the reason you’re turning against me! I’ve been present in your every training session with Thunderstriker and Smokefoot. I gave you advice on how to defeat your opponent in a fight. I shared with you my fighting techniques! This is betrayal!” Grayclaw exclaimed angrily.
Flamingstep met some enraged clouds in the fellow’s eyes. After a moment of hesitation, he spoke:
”Manipulation won’t help you this time, Grayclaw. Accept the fact you manipulated me, if you don’t want to learn that your mother regrets having you.”
“You know what?! It’s not as if your mother wants you alive! She would think; oh, better off without him!” Grayclaw replied, his words spilling out his anger.
Grayclaw’s words hit his heart like a heavy rock, leaving a wound on the surface. He has always seemed cold and never expressed his emotions too often, but whenever someone mentioned his family disdaining him, sadness came streaming through his eyes. His cold breath condensed into frozen crystals as his lips parted into a hiss:
”I can accept that, unlike you, because I know what I’m worth of after my mistakes, and I’ll respect everyone’s choices as long as they judge fairly.”
The gray tom took him by surprise as they switched places, slamming Flamingstep to the ground and standing above him. Knowing his weakness, Flamingstep bit one of his front legs. Grayclaw yelped, hopping off the ginger tom.
The two kept fighting as Flamingstep could see out of the corner of his eye two silhouettes roving to the spot. Father! He heard one of the figures calling out. But, he couldn’t let himself distracted.
“Stop the fight!”
He recognized the voice; it was Cindertail’s. Did all gather around now?! He wondered, afraid of spotting his son and daughter in the crowd.
The place where the fight took place was rammed by multiple StarClan cats, unable to help. After all, it was a battle between two darkforest cats, who knew their wrongdoings.
Grayclaw wanted to get rid of the current prophecy cats. Not one-by-one, but all at a time.
Shrewfoot, one of the current prophecy cats, who had the ability Shadeecho once had; to wander in the places of StarClan and talk to ancient cats, flew his sight across the two darkforest cats. It’s been hard ever since discovering the truth about him and his siblings being related to a loner who turned out to be their mother, and his closest ones’ death, who kept him company in every situation. He, Crowwing and Silentbelly were the reason for all the drama; they had to let peace run in the air again and get rid of all the evil cats, starting off with Smokefoot, then next being Grayclaw.
It was a surprise Flamingstep, one of the spirits of evilness and ambition, turned against the cats he followed once, when he was just an apprentice, to help Crowwing, Shrewfoot and Silentbelly to fulfill their prophecy.
Flamingstep and Grayclaw circled each other, keeping eye contact. The two snorted heavily, weakened from all the wounds they caused to each other. Flamingstep suddenly stopped. He was concentrated on one thing; to get rid of Grayclaw as soon as possible. But, his wounds seemed to affect him too much. However, that could never make his potency disappear.
He huddled, claws prepared to attack again. Grayclaw bounded towards his opponent who, letting his whole weight fall to his hind legs, he pushed himself against the ground and lifted into a high leap, stretching out his paws. Before Grayclaw could dodge the unexpected attack, Flamingstep already buried his fangs into the fur that covered his neck. He ripped out a few of the fluff, repeating the cycle until his throat’s skin was visible. When Flamingstep lunged again, this time, Grayclaw reached out for his neck, snatching it with his jaws until blood poured out of it. He spitted out a shout of pain, puffing. Grayclaw split his lips into a prideful meow:
”No matter how much you struggle in a fight, the end of it is the most important, because well, it can define your future. It can either keep going or just.. be gone.”
”This is not the end of it.”
Flamingstep rapidly jumped at Grayclaw’s throat, ripping it out forcefully. Grayclaw gasped for air as he laid on the ground, eyes broadened in shock.
Silence took over the crowd of StarClan cats. Flamingstep stared at the dead body, his eyes half-closed. He made a stride backwards, then, fell, unable to handle the pain anymore.
“No!”
Turtleheart’s mew arrived to Flamingstep’s ears, but he was so lacked of strength that he couldn’t answer her. She and Fireblotch scampered to his half-dead body, with a little sparkle of hope glittering in their eyes.
”Flamingstep.. Flamingstep.. please.. please wake up!” Fireblotch begged, his ears flattened.
Flamingstep’s pupils as thin as the icicles settled on Fireblotch, his son, as a tiny smile flowered on his expression.
”Let me hear you call me father once more, please… It’s the only thing I wish for.”
Fireblotch murmur was as quiet as the wind’s whisper:
”Are.. are you saying you’re leaving?..”
Turtleheart squinched up tightly next to the ginger tom.
”Don’t go, father…”
”Thank you.”
Turtleheart rose her muzzle to the empty sky and opened her mouth to let all of her sadness condense into a loud yell. Tears streamed down her cheeks, falling on the starry carpet and hitting it delicately. Fireblotch rubbed his head against her throat, trying to comfort her. Brokenleap joined the two, as his and Turtleheart’s tails compressed together. Turtleheart rested her head on Brokenleap’s shoulder, still blubbering.
Flamingstep fully closed his eyes, deciding to let his kits to find the answer to their question themselves. The stench of death strolled in the air, filling it. He was done. He fulfilled his prophecy and turned against the darkforest cats before it was too late.

HEYOOOO YALL
I DEEPLY APOLOGIZE FOR NOT POSTING😭😭😭😭
IVE BEEN BUSY WITH WORK EVER SINCE I STARTED HIGHSCHOOL, AND TBH THERE WERE AS WELL SOME THINGS WHICH I KIND OF SUFFERED FROM FOR SOME PERIOD OF TIME BUT IM FEELING SO MUCH BETTER NOW!
NOW, LETS FOCUS ON THE LORE >:3
SO BASICALLY, FLAMINGSTEP’S DARKFOREST SPIRIT DIES WHEN KILLING GRAYCLAW.
OK OK OK. LET ME EXPLAIN EVERYTHING FROM THE BEGINNING.
REMEMBER THE POST WHERE I SAID IM WORKING ON A NEW PROPHECY WITH NEW CATS AND THINGIES? YEAH YEAH YEAH SO.
Silentbelly, Shrewfoot and Crowwing were born to a loner. It was leaf-bare and since.. WELL UM, LEAFBARE IS LEAFBARE, their mother, whose name is Scarlett, gave them away to two warriors from windclan; Willowwhisker (the mother) and Mudpool (the father). Mudpool and Willowwhisker returned to their clan afterwards and claimed to have found the kits in a bush on their territory. The leader approved of welcoming them in, as they grew up under Willow’s and Mud’s watch. They’ve always believed they belonged to WindClan since everyone kept it a secret from them. One day, in their apprenticeship, Owlpaw (warrior name is unknown, probably gonna kill him later in the story before he can become a warrior) told them they were loners during an argument, but the three didnt believe him. When they became warriors, windclan has realized that they were prophecy cats…
They have to eliminate their father who is a rogue planning to take over the clans. Crowwing, after finding out about the whole truth of who is their true mother, sacrifices herself to kill him. Silentbelly and Shrewfoot have to find a way to fulfill another prophecy; get rid of all darkforest cats and bring peace to the clans’ forest. With Rainleap and Cherryheart to guide him, Shrewfoot manages to use his power to wander through the places of StarClan, where he, together with Silentbelly, will help the StarClan cats.
OH AND, THEYRE ALSO A PART OF A FRIEND GROUP!!! IN WHICH ARE: Flowernose, Blazenose, Snowwind, Russetheart, Leafbreeze (got the biggest crush on Crowwing), Shadowchaser, Specklesplatter, Miststrike, Mothflight, Mossclaw AND Skyleaf
Honestly, I’ve been thinking of not continuing with the lore after Im done with Crowwing, Silentbelly and Shrewfoot. But since I really enjoyed this experience creating them, I decided to continue it in this way:
After everything seems to have become peaceful again, Rainleap finds out that one of her sisters, Mapleleap (shes evil muahahahhahahahja), is still alive, and her mission is to gather more evil cats by possessing them.
One of her victims is Spottedpuddle. Spottedpuddle was born to Russetheart’s sister, Featherflight, and Mossclaw (also, a lil fun fact: Russetheart is Silentbelly’s m8). Both of Spottedpuddle’s parents died when she was just an apprentice. When she became a warrior, she suddenly expected with the kits of a loner. Later on, she gave birth to a she and a tom; Poppykit (Poppybelly) and Silentkit (Silentriver, changed his name from Frostedclaw). When the two had their apprentice ceremony, Silentpaw wandered in the territory without a warrior’s company. Poppypaw followed him and kept telling him to go back to the camp. However, Silentpaw ignored her and kept running through the grass and hopping around in excitement. But, all of sudden, he was taken by a twoleg in its monster and blah blah blah, poppypaw tells spottedpuddle, spottedpuddle tells windclan who starts searching for silentpaw but soon gives up because they couldnt find him, so they accepted the fact that he died. Poppypaw noticed how Spottedpuddle changed her mood daily whenever Silentpaw was mentioned. She couldnt accept the fact that he was gone for good, and so couldnt Poppypaw. But one day, Mapleleap manipulated Spottedpuddle, promising to help her with searching for Silentpaw. And ofc, she wanted smth in return. YES U GUESSED IT RIGHT!!! Mapleleap asked Spottedpuddle to ally with her and help her destroy WindClan, because she told her that WindClan actually knew where Silentpaw was but wouldnt tell her. Spottedpuddle believed her and allied with her, ofc, and she became a villain.
One morning, Poppypaw decided to leave windclan and go search for Silentpaw, no matter how long it would take.
Silentpaw stayed in the monster for days, as the twoleg kept driving without a break. But, during that time, Mapleleap also visited him. She knew apprentices were easy to manipulate, so she promised to help Silentpaw return to his clan, especially to his mother and sister, only if he swore to listen to her and help her with her tasks, no matter what. Silentpaw approved, and Mapleleap always kept him company. When Silentpaw arrived to his new house, he became a kittypet. But, he never really liked that, so, he ran away from there with Mapleleap’s help. However, he found himself in the middle of nowhere. Not knowing where to go, some rogues offered to help him, so he approved, soon ending up growing among them.
Poppypaw gave up one day after weeks of searching, and returned to her clan, knowing there was no chance she will find her brother, or at least, find him alive.
Silentpaw became a strong rogue with ambition and evilness running in his veins, and got his “warrior” name of Silentriver (this little group of rogues uses names like clans do). He also had a cr on this shecat named Nightsong😇😇🤭🤭 but Mapleleap didnt want him to have feelings for anyone, so he manipulated him into killing the rogues, including Nightsong. After realizing what he has done, Silentriver was shocked, and confronted Mapleleap about it. However, he ended up apologizing to her and accepting the fact that no strong cat should feel love for anyone. Then, he left to find his clan again, which something unexpected will await them…
Meanwhile, Poppypaw also got her warrior name of Poppybelly. However, WindClan has started to lose many warriors due to unknown reasons (spottedpuddle😝)
On his way, Silentriver met an ex-tribe cat whos now a part of RiverClan, called Silversky, who was being attacked by some rogues (little fun fact: her brothers are Mossskip and Bramblenose). Silentriver helped her, and Silversky was thankful to him. The two started getting to know each other better, which again, bothered Mapleleap. It turned out that Silversky was lost and the rain from earlier washed off the scent which she could have used to go back to her clan. Silentriver decided to help her return back to riverclan. Halfway, silentriver caught feelings for silentsky, ofc😌😌😌 THEN UHHH, THIS IS ALL TILL NOW!! ITS NOT FINISHED YET, BUT THIS IS ALL I THOUGHT OF. YOU WILL HEAR MORE ABOUT IT IN THE NEXT POST, AND AS WELL, ABOUT HOW THUNDERSTRIKER’S SPIRIT DIES
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING PATIENT, BYEEEEEEE🥰🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘😘
ALSO IDK WHY THE DRAWING LOOKS TRACED OML😭😭😭😭 BTW I DREW IT QUICKLY SO I HAD MORE TIME TO WRITE
