A few months ago I found at our local flea market an adorable vintage children’s bed linen set with apples on it. The bed linen is really old and slightly faded but IMO this only adds to it’s charm! I generally like vintage fabric best because often-washed fabric has this certain pleasant feel about it, at least to me. For my family I prefer to buy second-hand clothes or refashions because new clothes have this terrible finish on them, which I detest.

The bed set is one of those fabrics you are treasuring but never cut into! Until I stumbled over a tutorial ( [link] )for a bandana-dress… I very much liked Joy's original closure of the dress and decided to combine the classic pillow-case dress with this one. The result is absolutely adorable! (I’m seriously contemplating to make one for myself from the duvet cover!)
