I may or may not get a chance to pen this and color it. But it's a picture of Punky Skunk. Many of you probabley never heard of him, but he was the character you play in the game Punky Skunk for the playstation. The game is nowhere on par with the games of it's day, but it was fun if you ignore that fact. Kinda like Mrs Pacman... not saying Punky is that awesome or even that addictive, but... there you go. It got bad reviews, but I think that is only because people are spoiled and don't know how to have fun anymore.Related content

I'd agree with you on people not knowing how to have fun anymore. I get pretty irritated when I lose at a game or if it becomes too hard, I check the walkthroughs for how to beat bosses, & I don't even crack a smile when I game. However, I may chock it up to autism, but I may still need to relearn how to feel when I play games.
As for Punky Skunk, I feel the reason he didn't do well is because his game was incredibly generic. I mean no offense, I am merely offering my 2 cents on it. However, I will say this. I wonder how the game would fare in 3D.

Well yeah... I realize all those points. But still, in the end graphics have spoiled many gamers. Admittedly, I was amazed something like this game got through to the store shelves, but still, it was fun enough to play to the end.

Wow, I just watched a movie of this game and it looks amazing, well, not amazing, but it had solid, crisp graphics for the PS, and I'm a huge old-school side scrolling fan.

I thought you meant record as in record onto a .mov file. But either way, it'd be a bit of a jig right now to set up my PS and all that jazz. Maybe you can find it on the net!

Yes. It's side-scrolling. It isn't as cool as Sonic, though. Don't get me wrong... the game is fun if you don't compare it to the coolest things to have hit the planet. But it seems that's what everyone does.

Woohoo! Lemme know if you do! And I'll tell ya... just about the only lame thing in that game (in my opinion) is that his normal weapon is a cloud of stink that comes from his rear (though that is equally hilarious anyhow) and causes your enemies to fall uncontious from it. He gets other weapons fortunately. And as you see in the pic, his is pretty cute.
