Backstory:

Turtle was born to a kind she-cat named Maple, a beautiful tortoiseshell cat, Turtle was the only one of her siblings to inherit her mother’s pelt colour, but her mother often told her she resembled her father in looks. She had two brothers, a black Tom named Shadow and a grey Tom named Smoky, she got along with her siblings, but they tended to hang out with one another and play together more then they did with her, so she became a momma’s girl and listened to her mothers tales of her father, a wild cat.

Kittypet life

Once Turtle was 6 moons old she and her siblings were give away to separate homes away from their mother, her brothers went to twolegs in the city while the farmer who lived outside the area took Turtle for clearing the barn and house of mice. Turtle was, as it turns out, not very good at hunting, so the twoleg took pity on her and started feeding her cat food, getting another cat to hunt the mice. After a few years of living with the twoleg she caught the eye of a wildcat named Gorseclaw, she thought the name was peculiar at first, but as she grew to know Gorseclaw and where he lives she became enthralled. Eventually, after spending a few nights in the barn together, Gorseclaw stopped coming, and though this saddened Turtle she wasn’t alone for very long, she met another cat named Sleetstar, they quickly became close, sharing stories of their experiences with one another. Not very long after she met the Tom did Turtle realize she was pregnant, now she had a new problem, she didn’t know who the father was, and she didn’t want her kits to be separated from her like she had been from her mother and siblings, so what was she to do now?

Zero snuck out of the nursery, slowly but surely making his way through the warren, his ears twitching in anticipation as he made his way towards the prisoner pit. His favourite past time, watching the prisoners in the pit suffer and fight for something he could easily obtain. He skittered from the warren entrance and to the side of the pit, ears perked as he looked down on the filthy rabbits, he glanced to the side and surely enough, she was there, the one who never fought, who sometimes looked at him with desperation, the giant of the pit who seemed to get skinnier every day, he heard some of the prisoners call her, Snowdrop.
